Short term remand (pilot)
We provide 1-1 and group support for young people aged 10-17 in Wagga Wagga who are at risk of ontact with the justice system.

Overview
Mobile Youth Outreach is part of the Short-Term Remand Pilot in Wagga and is a youth led outreach program with the aim of creating and supporting safety, belonging and wellbeing for young people and their families in an engaging and creative ways.
Who is this program for
Young people aged 10-17 who are disengaged from education or who face other complexities.
About the program
The Short-Term Remand Pilot (STRP) is an assertive outreach and early intervention service for young people aged 10–17 in the Wagga Wagga region who are at risk of contact with the justice system – especially Aboriginal young people.
Through mobile outreach, the team delivers youth-led recreational and creative activities, in-school and after-school programs, and mentoring in practical skills.
Young people and their families can also access individualised and culturally-responsive support, information and referrals to specialist services.
