We're working in south-east Perth to support children and young people aged 5-17 with experience of family violence to feel safe and supported.

We recognise that children and young people impacted by family violence have their own recovery and support needs, separate from adults — which is why our service centres on them. Delivered by specialist counsellors across south-east Perth, the service offers one-to-one counselling, family-based case management and therapeutic healing using trauma-informed, culturally safe, and age-appropriate approaches — including play-based, creative, and narrative therapies. We offer support from our Armadale centre, through co-location at schools and community hubs, or via mobile outreach across the area.
You can access the Children and Young People Therapeutic Service through a range of pathways — no referral from a GP or specialist is required.
Families, caregivers, and young people can self-refer by clicking the contact button below, by phone, or by speaking to us at a community event.
We also accept referrals from schools, government agencies, and local organisations. If you're already connected to another support service, your worker can help connect you directly.
