We have nearly 700 specialists all across Australia that are in your corner and ready to listen to what you need in order to feel safe, connected, confident.
Our approach is all about you having a say on what matters and what will make a difference
How do we know we're making a positive impact? We start by asking the kids and caregivers who come to our services all sorts of questions about how they feel, what they've learned and how they're tracking against their goals. We then combine and analyise all of their responses, and voila! We've got a pretty good idea of what we're doing right and where we need to be better.
Our approach is all about you having a say on what matters and what will make a difference
As a wealthy, stable, developed nation, with an amazing richness of culture, Australia should – and can be – the best place for kids and teens to thrive. Thankfully, most of the 5.6 million children living in Australia today do grow up safe, healthy and happy. But not all children here have their rights met in consistent and meaningful ways.
Our approach to working with you is simple – you tell us what you want, what you need, what you dream of, and we listen. It’s your voices that inform and drive the focus of our work. We strive to see the world as you do – so we're able to act in meaningful ways, and with real impact.
Over the last twelve months, this approach has allowed us to reach almost 25,000 kids and their caregivers in every state and territory to develop, learn, be safe, connected and heard.
"The Journey of Hope team were able to create a safe environment for the children to feel safe to open up and speak up about their feeling and furthermore guide them to find strategies on how to deal with their feelings.”
Our total reach in Australia is 24,236 children, young people, their parents and care givers.
