Play2Learn is our largest early childhood program, providing supported playgroups, parenting coaching, and 1-1 family supports.
Overview
We’ve been delivering supported playgroups for children and their families for over 30 years, with Play2Learn now supporting almost 10,000 children and their caregivers across 200 sites around Australia.
Who is this program for
Play2Learn is open to families with children aged 0-3, especially multicultural and First Nations families. We also welcome 4 year-olds who have eligible support needs.
About the program
Play2Learn provides weekly playgroup sessions for children aged 0-3 (up to 4, for eligible children) and their families who are in need of additional early learning and development support in the years before school.
Research tells us that safe and supported play in the early years has a real, positive impact on children’s development. They learn better at school, have better relationships with family and friends and are more likely to reach their full potential in life. That’s why we focus our support on communities with limited access to early supports, providing free weekly sessions which are proven to improve outcomes for children and families.
